The piston is one of the consumable parts located inside the engine. The piston and piston rings fit within the combustion chamber inside the cylinder. When the fuel-air mixture enters the combustion chamber, it is compressed by the valves. Once ignited by the spark plug, the explosion drives the piston and piston rings, converting the explosion’s energy into mechanical motion. Essentially, the engine derives its power through this component.

The Pride piston is designed for the M13 engine, commonly used in standard Pride vehicles. The M13 engine is a 4-cylinder, 8-valve engine with a displacement of 1300 cc, known for its reliability and performance, making it popular among drivers.
